Saving Sparrow...as you can see in the photo this poor guy has been terribly damaged. -the operation to surgically remove the bad eye and any other damage to his head is $3000.
He is extremely affectionate, despite the harm inflicted on him when someone bashed him in the head with a heavy object (possibly a sledge hammer or a shovel judging from the shape of the dent in his skull).
He's great with people. Loves to lean on you and get hugs. His favorite thing is showing off how he can give you his paw. He loves to run in the outside pen. If you are one end and call him he gallops down to you and can't wait for a hug. He is a wonderful patient at the hospital. Everyone was very impressed with how well behaved he is. He likes to try and catch the tennis ball but with his bad eye he can't find it. Likes the thought of trying to catch it though. At night he curls up on his bed and takes his blanket between his front paws.
