We are always looking for volunteers to walk, play and socialize our dogs and cats.

The most needed times are 8 to 10 in the morning because the paws have been crossed all night and they need to go out. But we are happy to have you almost any time of day, give us a call to set up an appointment.

The responsibilities of foster are:

  • Provide temporary shelter and care for a rescued animal (dog, puppy, cat, kitten, etc.).
  • House the animal in your home. Animals fare better when in a home environment, and their true personalities will emerge.
  • The time frame you keep your foster animal can range from a few days to a few months.
  • Prepare a short profile of your foster animal to help us match them up with the ideal permanent home.
  • Some foster parents bring their foster animal to adoption events and talk to potential adopters about their foster animal.
  • Overall, foster 'parents' are asked to be responsible guardians.

If you are interested in fostering an animal, please contact us at: sbach@pawsunlimited.com.
